Move the universal clamping disc 4903-2 into the front
position and immediately connect the universal clamp-
ing disc with the safety spring vice 4900-2A with the
locking bar 2 (the locking pin of the locking bar must
be clicked into place) in order to prevent the universal
clamping disc from slipping.
Fit the universal tensioning jaw 4903-3 3 onto the safe-

ty spring Vice 4900-2 A. The locking pin must have
clicked into place. Fit the Safety Adapter 4 on the
Safety Spring Vice (drive) and mount it with the safety
chain onto the Base Support 4903-1.
The HAZET universal spring vice is now ready for use.
Swivel the HAZET universal spring vice into a verti-
cal position by holding the universal clamping disc
4903-2 with one hand and by first loosening the
stop bolt lock 5 with the other hand and then swiv-
elling the device. Then loosen the stop bolt locking 6
and swivel the device completely into a vertical posi-

tion. Please make sure that the stop bolt locking 6 is
securely locked in.

(When swivelling from a vertical into a horizontal posi-
tion follow the instructions in the reverse order.)
ATTENTION: If the universal tensioning jaw
4903-2 is not secured, there is a considerable
risk of injury when the base support is folded
down.
ATTENTION: Make sure you have a firm grip
and that the device is stable!
