e) Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by qualified persons, only using original
spare parts. This will ensure safe use.
f) To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do not remove factory-fitted guards and
do not loosen any screws.
g) Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the course of work.
h) Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
i) Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime from accumulating.
j) Do not cover the air intake and outlet.
k) After use, switch off the appliance by pressing the power button.
l) It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of the device in order to change its parameters
or construction.
m) This is a stand-alone appliance and must not be built into a kitchen cabinet.
n) Harmful fumes and vapours are generated when heating adhesives, plastics, liquids and
flammable materials.
o) Do not use this device for drying, heating or drying out of objects.
p) Do not leave dishes in the switched off device. The resulting moisture causes damage to the
product.
q) Users must be trained in the use of the appliance and should read the instructions manual.
The instructions manual must always be available in the place where the appliance is used.
r) Use kitchen utensils that are intended for use with food and that will not scratch the
appliance. Do not use sharp and metal objects.
s) Connection to the power supply can only be performed by personnel with appropriate
authorisation and qualifications.
t) It is not recommended to use corn oil because of its high sugar content. The sugar melts
while heating, burns on the surface of the plate and then it is difficult to remove.
u) Do not touch the heating plate while the appliance is in use. Risk of burns.

4. Use guidelines
The device is intended for grilling meat, fish and vegetables directly on the heating plate.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from unintended use of the device.
