All data are coded in absolute without offset gain factor except for:
internal pressure (5mbars resolution);
pressure sensor offset coded in two's complement from -128 to +127 cBars with a resoultion of 1 cBar;
voltage drop in dV (gap compared with 10V);
all hours are coded in tenth of hours.
The time of the float is coded on 3 bytes (hour + minutes + seconds), 1 byte per field.

6.6. Life Expiry Message

Life expiry mode occurs at the end of mission once all the programmed cycles are performed and the
corresponding data transmitted. This mode enables to obtain a regular position of the float for an eventual
recovery. Taking into account the significant cost of Iridium packets, the following has been decided:
Technical packets will be transmitted by default every 6 hours. The transmission period at life expiry is
a technical parameter (PT30) expressed in hours.
The Iridium communication phase at life expiry will include a reception phase enabling to process the
commands via downlink.
If the float must be recovered, a command can be sent to update the transmission period and to obtain
a GPS position more frequently.

6.7. Sending message via downlink

Sending command via downlink is restricted to one PM! command (write in capitals) by e-mail (max. 20
bytes length).
For e-mails configuration, refer to
Thanks to a syntax control command, any incorrect syntax is rejected; this is to avoid the destruction of float
if an incorrect value of a mission parameter is positioned.
The mission parameters are bordered to avoid that any mistakes may destroy the float.
The min. and max. values of mission parameters are the following:
