PM(12) Slices thickness of surface CTD measurements (dbar)
Thickness of the CTD slices for shallow depths (algorithm of data reduction).
PM(13) Slices thickness of bottom CTD measurements (dbar)
Thickness of the CTD slices for deep depths (algorithm of data reduction).
PM(14) Slices Thickness of optical measurements surface zone
Thickness of the optical slices for shallow depths (algorithm of data reduction).
PM(15) Multiplying factor for optical acquisition
This parameter is used to define the time interval between successive optical measurements
according to the following formula:
Acquisition periodicity in seconds = multiplying factor (PM14) x acquisition periodicity of CTD sensor
(PM7) (example: if PM14 = 2, the acquisition periodicity will be equal to 20 seconds, etc.).
If this parameter is adjusted to 0 second, the profile will not be carried out.
However, according to ARGO specifications, the first profile of mission will be automatically carried
out even if this parameter is equal to 0.
PM(16) Duration of optical acquisition at bottom
This parameter is used to define the sampling phase at bottom. At the end of this period, all the
acquired optical data are averaged and the result saved in a variable associated at each
measurement. These values are transmitted in the technical paquet.
PM(17) Tri-profile (=1) or Monoprofile (=0) option
With this parameter, the user may choose the tri-profile (=1) or monoprofile (=0) option.
PM(18) Time Surface is reached profile 1 in tri-profile mode
This parameter is used to define the time the surface is reached at rising sun (tri-profile mode).
PM(19) Time Surface is reached profile 2 in tri-profile mode
This parameter is used to define the time the surface is reached at apparent noon (tri-profile mode).
PM(20) Time Surface is reached profile 3 in tri-profile mode
This parameter is used to define the time the surface is reached at the end of the afternoon (tri-
profile mode).
