5.8.3. Assembly of optical sensor
Supplied separately, the optical sensor (1) must be assembled onto the float before set-up.
The optical sensor must be inserted in the notch (2) of the damping disk (3),
•
Position the optical sensor in such a way that the sleeve (4) of its lower part be below the damping disk
(3).
•
Place the pipe clamps (5) so that the black sensor support parts (6) of the optical sensor are onto the
marks of the float taking care that the part of the yellow heat shrinkable sleeve be onto the transmittance
sensor.
•
Tighten the pipe clamps (5).
•
Connect the power / data cable (7) to the connector (8) located on the bottom of the optical sensor.
•
Check that the sensor is in vertical position (± 5° according to vertical axis).
5.8.4. Configuration Check
The float has been programmed at the factory. The objective of this portion of the acceptance test is to verify
the float's configuration parameters.
