2. UNPACKING. PRODUCT CONTENTS

Carefully preserve the packaging of the EFTsmart.
It must be re-used whenever the terminal is shipped.
The following is included in the EFTsmart packaging (not including optional accessories):
• the EFTsmart terminal itself,
• the power supply unit with the connection cable for the mains supply,
The power supply unit provided with your equipment is especially designed for
SAGEM Monétel EFTsmart terminals. Do not use any other power supply.
• the connection cable for the telephone network,
• a roll of paper,
• a cable fixing kit,
• the installation manual (this document).

3.1 INSTALLING EFTsmart
Positioning of terminal on the check-stand must be in such way to make cardholder PIN (Personal Identification
Number) spying infeasible.
