8. MelODy selectION wIth wIReD GONG MODule

The bell connected to T3 and T4 enables the gong to play a stipulated polyphone melody or alternating polyphone melodies.
On pushing the slide switch (7) to „SEQ" the „SEL" button (6) can be pressed to select the desired polyphone melody. To ensure that
the gong only plays this selected melody the slide switch (7) must be pushed to the „SET" position without having pressed any other
buttons in the meantime. If the slide switch remains in the „SEQ" position any random polyphone melody is played.
Note: On changing the battery or changing a module respectively the melody is automatically reset to a standard melody and must
be reset if necessary.
9. MelODy selectION wIth RADIO MODule
If a radio module has been inserted into the slot then melody selection takes place via the transmitter (Fig. 5).
Slide switch : K – for 3-sound-tone, K2 – for Westminster-melody,
K3 – for polyphone melody
Slide switch : „SEQ" - for alternating melody at K3;
„SET" – to use a selected melody at K3
If slide switch  is at K3 then the gong plays a defined polyphone melody or alternating polyphone melodies.
Pushing the slide switch  to „SEQ" enables you to select the desired polyphone melody by pressing the transmitter. To ensure that
the gong only plays this selected melody the slide switch must be pushed to the „SET" position without having pressed any other but-
tons in the meantime. If the slide switch remains in the „SEQ" position any random polyphone melody is played.

10. ADjustING the VOluMe

Four different volumes can be selected in stages by pressing the „VOL" button () in the gong.
Note: On changing the batteries or changing a module respectively the volume is automatically reset to „LOUD " and must be adjusted
if required.

11. OpeRAtION wIth sOuND MODule

By using the sound module (not included) additional polyphone melodies or sounds can be played when in the „T3"/„K3" mode. Insert
the sound module into the expansion slot (Fig. 3) and carry out the melody selection as explained in point 8 / 9.

12. OpeRAtION wIth usB MODule

By using a USB-module (not included) your own choice of polyphone melodies (midi/wave) can be played in „T3"/„K3" mode.
Install the USB software from the düwi homepage (www.duewi.com). Insert the USB-module with download function into the USB hub of
your computer and use the software to load the desired music file from your computer onto the USB-module. Insert the USB-module into
the expansion slot (Fig. 4) and carry out the melody selection as explained in point 8 / 9.
