1. Intended use

With a Quad processor, you can show the pictures from four cameras on one monitor simultaneously.
At the video inputs, you connect up to four cameras to the Quad processor. Two video outputs are
available, the view of the "MONITOR OUT" output is freely configurable, and the video signal is displayed
in quad view at the "QUAD OUT" output. You can activate external equipment (such as exterior lighting) by
means of the relay output.
With the Quad processor, you have four options for showing the picture: full screen, sequence (the
pictures of all connected cameras are shown in sequence), picture in picture, or Quad. In Quad mode, you
see all four pictures simultaneously and in real time (25 frames per second).
You can set the Quad processor easily with the user-friendly on-screen display. For example, you can
control and program the following functions: zoom mode for the recorder view, the real-time clock, the
motion sensor of each channel, the freeze function and the built-in sounder. Up to 60 alarm events are
recorded in an event memory.
A detailed description of all functions can be found in chapter „3 Features and functions".
