3. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Close supervision is required when this appliance is used by, on, or near children,
or persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or invalids.
5. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not
use attachments not recommended by Andis.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
8. This appliance can be used by children aged from 3 years under supervision.
9. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, when it is not
working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or after it has been
dropped into water. Return the appliance to an Andis authorized service center
for examination and repair.
10. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
11. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
12. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is being administered.
13. Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken blade or comb, as injury
to the skin may occur.
14. Always attach plug to appliance first, then to outlet. To disconnect, turn control
to OFF position (e.g. "0"), then remove plug from outlet.
15. Never touch both terminals on the appliance with metal objects and/or body
parts, as short circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure to comply
with these warnings could result in fire or serious injury.
16. To disconnect turn control to OFF then remove plug from outlet.
17. Use of a charger not sold by Andis may result in risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury to person.
18. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar objects.
19. Keep the appliance dry.
