Avoid chimney fires. Have your chimney swept at least 2 times a year, (1 before
the season)(1 during the season), and more often in case of intensive use. Avoid
excessive soot formation in the flue, so never burn freshly cut wood, but always
clean and dry wood. (moisture content less than 20%)
Do not use the insert as a barbecue, as this will cause the formation of a
(flammable) fat deposit in the canal and accelerate the clogging of the canal.
Avoid clogging the channel (bird's nests, etc.) by placing a suitable bolt on the
chimney. (cap)
Installation Instructions
Wood and wood briquettes can be burned in the insert.
Charcoal cannot be burned in the insert.
NEVER use the insert as a waste incinerator.
Before using the appliance for the first time, please read the operating
instructions. During the first heating, you have to take into account several
additional elements, see chapter 5.
During transport, parts in the appliance may have slipped. Check that the door is
working properly, that the baffle plate is correctly seated in the brackets at the
top of the appliance and that the slats are resting firmly against the wall. Check
that the grate is correctly positioned and that there are no foreign objects in the

ashtray.

Avoid an overload (white fire), e.g. due to prolonged combustion with primary air
(combustion air supply drawer fully pushed to + ) or with too much wood at one
time. This can lead to overheating of the insert. The combustion grate and
deflector could be damaged.
