1 Introduction

1.1. Foreword

Congratulations on your purchase of this modern Becafire ECO insert.
With this quality product, you will enjoy the pleasure of heating for years to come,
as well as the play of flames and the friendly warmth of the fire.
These instructions contain information on both the installation and the
(environmentally friendly) use of the appliance. In addition, you will also find the
technical data of the appliance, information on spare parts and instructions on
how to remedy any malfunctions.
Please read the manual carefully before putting the unit into operation.
To keep the information at hand, we recommend that you keep this manual
carefully.
1.2 safety and installation instructions

Security

Do not place flammable objects within 120 cm of the radiation range of the device.
Pay attention to clothing / ornaments in the vicinity of the unit.
When using your insert, the outside becomes hot. When ordering the fireplace
insert, use a glove or the accessories supplied.
Protect yourself and others (children!) from burns. Never leave children alone with
an insert in use.
Pay attention to clothing. Synthetic clothing in particular can easily catch fire and
burn violently.
Avoid being near the unit with flammable materials or liquids. Working with
solvents, glues or similar products in the room where the insert is located can be
very dangerous.
