4.2.2 Installing second Antistatic Kit
NOTICE
For the installation of a second Antistatic Kit you will also need a second AC adapter, see [Acces-
sories } Page 15].
1 Remove the relevant side door (1).
2 Remove the any of the 3 clips, for example the
middle one (2).
3 Push the compact ionizer in from back to front
until it clicks into place. If necessary, gently
squeeze the strips at the back.
4 Insert the side door (3) marked with "Conducting
Glass" (4) at an angle of approx. 30° into the two
slots.
5 Lift the side door against the balance until it clicks
into place.
6 Push the side door completely to the front.
7 Check that the side door runs easily, otherwise it
is not correctly inserted.
8 For XPE balances, return the handle to the upright
position.
For XSE balances, clip the handle together.
9 Plug the control cable (5) into Aux 1 or Aux 2.
10 Plug the power supply cable (6) into the ionizer.
11 Connect the second AC adapter (7) to the power
supply.
