CHIME MELODY & ALARM TONE
The chime melody is set on the transmitter using the "S" button. Each
transmitter can play a different melody. For details on where the button is
located and how to set the melody on the transmitter, please refer to the
transmitter's manual.
A total of 14 chime melodies and 2 alarm tones are available.
Note: For all transmitters whose model designation starts with BELL-2 or
BELL-4 (e.g., BELL-201 TX or BELL-401 TX), only 8 chime melodies can be
used, and alarm tones are not supported!
To use all melodies and alarm tones, a transmitter with a model designation
starting with BELL-5 is required, e.g., BELL-501 TX.
SPECIAL FUNCTION: ALARM TONE
Two different alarm tones are available, each with distinct behavior. The
switch for the chime melodies on the transmitter must be set to position
"B" to use them.
Alarm Tone 1
When Alarm Tone 1 is selected, the receiver will play an alarm tone for
approximately 60 seconds. The light signal blinks continuously.
The alarm can be stopped by pressing a button on the receiver or by using a
second transmitter with a chime melody set.
Alarm Tone 2
When Alarm Tone 2 is selected, the receiver will play a short tremolo three
times, followed by a 10-second pause, and then another three short tremo-
los. This signal is repeated every 5 minutes. The light signal blinks continu-
ously.
The alarm can be stopped by pressing a button on the receiver or by using a
second transmitter with a chime melody set.
