Note: When making the connections, ensure that the coolant
connections are sufficiently tight and then check their
impermeability.
The connection of an ATEX motor with an EEx p control device has to be
done with a pipe or a tube with a maximum internal diameter of 8 mm.
If plastic pipes are used, the maximum outer diameter is 13 mm.
Possible electrostatic discharge from plastic
pipes!
⇒ Use only plastic pipes that are certified for use in
explosion-protected areas.
CAUTION
Connect the pneumatic purging gas lines by heeding the maximum
permitted bending cycles according to Fig. 5-12.
p: Maximum permitted input pressure on EEx p control device = 3 bar

Note: Should more than one motor be operated with a control
device, apply them in a row when connecting the purging gas
tube (see Fig. 5-12)!
