The door lock option is required because the doors can't unlock with factory remote
when the engine is running.

FUNCTIONALITY
The remote starter must be programmed for DIESEL MODE (Wait to Start) in order for the Brake pedal to be
activated at least 5 seconds before remote start. It is normal that the brake lights turn on before remote start.
Once the vehicle is started, the PKALL will automatically shut down the engine once the (-) While running
(status) is removed. This feature can be bypassed simply by pressing the UNLOCK button on the remote starter
transmitter once the engine is running, thus allowing the driver 45 seconds to enter the vehicle and step on the
brake pedal without having the vehicle shut down.
NOTE: If the vehicle is remote started with the SMART-KEY inside the vehicle, the PKALL will not shut down the
engine once the (-) While running (status) is removed.
