Recommendations and maintenance
• The A / C works only when the engine of the vehicle is running.
• Start the engine before connecting the air conditioning (A / C).
• To cool the interior of the vehicle, after exposure to the sun, the A / C should be on maximum and then drive with the
windows down for a few minutes. This will evacuate the heat built up inside more quickly.
• The A/C removes moisture from inside the vehicle by demisting the windows, using it alone or in combination
with the heating. Conducting this function shows the system is functioning correctly and it is normal that when
disconnecting the A / C, a droplet of water and / or small puddles appear on the ground (depending on the relative
humidity).
• To prevent refrigerant leaks in the system, it is recommended, even during cold weather, to start up for a few
minutes, every 15 days. This will keep the gaskets lubricated, avoiding possible leaks.
• Insects and dirt can build up due to the condenser being located outside in the condenser-filter assembly, meaning
this element should be regularly cleaned using compressed air, without damaging the condenser's blades (*).
Cleaning frequency will depend on environmental conditions.
• At least once a year, before the start of the summer season, it should be checked by an Authorized Workshop,
verifying the circuit charge, as well as screw tightening, electrical connections, etc.
• The circuit contains pressurized refrigerant gas, which, when in contact with the atmosphere, reaches very low
temperatures, which could seriously injure the user. It is therefore totally forbidden any part of the circuit, this
operation that can only be performed by an Authorized Workshop. Otherwise Bergstrom It is not responsible for
any damages that may be caused to the user and / or third parties.
• Failure to observe these cleaning and maintenance operations could result in the loss of the warranty, if it is found
that the fault has been due to any of these causes.
