SYMPTOM

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Improper type of fuel.
Clogged or dirty air cleaner.
Engine overloaded.
Injection nozzles dirty
Engine out of time.
Turbocharger not functioning.

Low coolant level.
Faulty radiator cap.
Stretched poly-vee belt or defective belt
tension.
Low engine oil level.
Cooling system needs flushing.
Defective thermostat.
Defective temperature gauge or sender.
Incorrect grade of fuel.
Improper type of fuel.
Clogged or dirty air cleaner.
Engine overloaded.
Improper valve clearance.
Injection nozzles dirty.
Engine out of time.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Use proper fuel.
