2.1
Safety definitions
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions,
there is a risk of death or injury.

there is a risk of damage to the product, other materials
or the adjacent area.

2.2 Safety instructions
Warning! Read and obey all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with
this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed
below can result in serious injury.
● Keep the safety instructions and make sure that the
user has access to them.
● Only approved persons must install, adjust and use
the product.
● Do not use the product if you are tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine. This has a
negative effect on your vision, alertness, coordination
and judgement.
● Do not let children or persons who is unfamiliar with
the product to use it.
● The product must be examined regularly to make sure
that the labels and markings are readable. Refer to the
retailer to get replacement labels if necessary.
● Do not use the product if it is damaged.
● Do not change the product. Changes can have
negative effect on the safety and increase the risks for
the user.
● The product must only be used for its dedicated use.
2.2.1 Personal safety
● Impact-resistant eye protection must be used during
product operation. Applicable protection type for the
user and other persons must be estimated before each
use.
● For overhead work, use a safety helmet.
● Safety the work piece before you start product
operation.
● To prevent suffocation accidents, scalp injuries and
cuts, do not use loose clothing, gloves or jewellery.
Keep your hair and clothes away from moving parts.
● Make sure to have a balanced body position and
secured footing during operation.
2.2.2 Repitetive motions safety
During operation the user can experience discomfort in
the hands, arms, shoulders, neck or other parts of the
body.
● Make sure to have a comfortable and balanced
posture while you maintain safe footing. Change
posture during extended tasks to prevent discomfort
and fatigue.
● Stop the operation and seek medical attention if you
get symptoms during the operation. Symptoms are for
example: discomfort, pain, throbbing, aching, tingling,
numbness, burning sensations or stiffness.
2.2.3 Accessory safety
● Disconnect the product from the power source before
you make adjustments, change accessories, or keep it
in storage.
● Do not touch the attached accessory during and after
use. The accessories becomes hot during use.
● Use only accessories and consumables with the
correct size and the correct type for the product.
● Do not use the product with grinding wheels or
cutting tools.
● Make sure that the maximum operation speed of the
attached accessory is higher than the rated speed of
the product.
● The sanding disc must be attached concentrically on
the sanding pad.
2.2.4 Work area safety
● Make sure that there are no electrical cables, gas
pipes or air hoses that can cause accidents. Be aware
of slippery surfaces caused by the use of the product.
Slips, trips and falls are typical causes of workplace
injury.
● Do not operate the product in explosive areas, for
example in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust.
● The product is not insulated against contact with
electrical power.
