● Examine the sanding pad for wear and damage before
each use. Do not use the sanding pad if it is damaged.
● Do not touch the moving sanding pad. Wear suitable
gloves to protect your hands.
● There is a risk of electrostatic discharge if the product
is used on plastic and other non-conductive materials.
● If possible, use a dust extraction system applicable for
the processed material. Dust and fumes from sanding
can cause explosive atmospheres.
● Do not put pressure on the product. Extra pressure
will slow down the speed of the sanding pad, reduce
the work efficiency and put strain on the motor of the
product.
● Do not operate the product on the work piece without
a sanding disc attached to the sanding pad.
● To prevent accidental start, disconnect the product
from the air supply when it is not in use.
● Disconnect the product from the air supply before you
replace the sanding disc.
● Make sure that the product has come to a complete
stop before you put it down after use.

Assembly
3.1
To assemble the product
1
Remove the protective cap from the air inlet.
2
Tighten a plug into the air inlet. For airtight
connection, use thread sealant tape on the plug.
Do not tighten the plug too much. (Figure 3)
3
Hold the crank shaft with the wrench and fully
tighten the applicable sanding pad clockwise into
the crank shaft. (Figure 4)
4
Attach a sanding disc concentrically onto the
sanding pad.

Installation
Warning! Compressed air can be dangerous.
Make sure that you know all precautions for the use of
compressors and compressed air supply.
4.1
To install the product to an air
compressor
Caution! Refer to the typical air system layout.
(Figure 2)
● Air compressors used with the tool must comply with
the appropriate European Community Safety
Directives.
● Make sure that the air compressor has the correct
output (CFM).
● For the best performance of the product, it is
recommended to use an air hose with an inner
diameter of 3/8".
● If a long (more than 8 meters) air hose is used, set the
output pressure of the air compressor higher to keep
the required working pressure. Long air hoses can
cause a pressure drop of up to 1 bar.
● Make sure to use the correct hoses and fittings.
● Install a lead hose and a coupling between the air
supply of the product and the whip hose. The vibration
from the product at operation can cause failure to
quick couplings installed directly to the product.
4.1.1 Air compressors with in-line lubricator
Caution! The product must be lubricated before
each use also if an air compressor with in-line lubricator
is used.
● An in-line lubricator installed on the air supply line will
keep the product in good working condition and
increase the product life.
5
Operation
Warning! Only clean, dry, and regulated com-
pressed air must be used as a power source.
Warning! Too high pressure and dirty air can
cause injury and will shorten the product life.
5.1
To do before each use
● Examine the hoses for wear and damage before each
use.
● Make sure that all connections are tightened.
● Turn the product upside down and put 2–3 drops of air
tool oil into the plug connected to the air inlet before
each use. (Figure 5)
Note! The product must be lubricated also if a compresor
with in-line lubricator is used.
