FASTENING TOOLS FOR THE PROFESSIONAL
• You must release the trigger after each nail has been fired. The tool will not fire another fastener until the trigger has been released.
NOTE: Harder materials and longer length fastenings will always require more force. Apply added hand pressure at the top front part of the tool.
NOTE: Do not keep the trigger depressed when the tool is not in use. Ensure that the trigger safety lock switch is locked and the on/off switch is turned off to
prevent accidental firing when the tool is not in use.
LED work light
The LED work light is activated by depressing either the trigger or depressing the safety contact nose into the workpiece. The LED work light will stay illuminated
for approximately 10 seconds unless reactivated.
Removing a jammed fastener (Fig. D)
NOTE: You must remove any jammed fastenings before using the tool any further. If you continue to try to fire a fastener while the tool is jammed, you could
cause damage to the mechanism.
• Ensure the power tool is switched off and unplugged from the power source.
• Remove any unused fasteners from the magazine channel; this should clear the jammed fastener(s).
• Remove any jammed fasteners from the nose by opening the quick-release nose gate. Any jammed fastener(s) will be visible and can be removed.
• Close and lock the nose gate before plugging into the power source.
CAUTION: Never open the nose gate if there are fasteners in the magazine channel. This could cause the fasteners to fire out of the front of the tool and could
lead to serious injury.
• Following the removal of a jammed fastener, always carefully test the tool function before proceeding with any work. If fasteners become jammed frequently,
have the tool serviced by a Tacwise Engineer or appointed service agent.
Converting the plug from UK to Euro (Fig. E)
Check the compatibility of the plug end before use. See Technical data and Maximum permissible system impedance sections.
• Unscrew the UK plug casing.
• Flip open the casing to reveal the Euro 2-pin plug.
• Remove the Euro plug from the UK casing.
