Assembly
The enclosed instructions shows / refers to fastening to vertical masonry or concrete walls.
The installer is responsible for assessing the load capacity of the wall and the fastening of the wall holder.
Because of the different possible wall materials and the different fastenings we have not enclosed fastenings. Buy suitable faste-
nings for your wall from a dealer.
Ask a building expert for advice if necessary.
Makes sure that there are no wires / pipes below the surface when you drill the holes.
See the sketches on pages 16 to 19 (installation sketch can be folded out):
Fastening takes place with 10 plugs 12 x 60 (sketch 4. arrow A) and appropriate countersunk screws 8 x 70
(sketch 4, arrow B). Caution, use screws (S) with heads of a size and shape to fi t into the countersinks in the wall fastening plate
(A). The screw heads should not protrude signifi cantly from the wall fastening plate (A). This ensures that the base plate (G) can
be mounted on the wall fastening plate (A) without any problems.
Use the appropriate VESA adapter for adaptation. Use this to make the connection between your TV set and the WM Flex 32L
Alu.
See the information in the installation instructions on page 17 (table, which TV set needs which VESA adapter, with article num-
ber of the adapter).
Installation advice WM Flex 32 L Alu
Remove wall fastening plate "A" from the WM Flex 32 L Alu
The foam strip that is fi tted on the wall attachment plate to secure it in position during transport must be removed.
Release the wall attachment plate by pulling it up to the stop in the direction of the arresting screw thread "c".
You can then take out the wall attachment plate (page 16, diagram 3).
Fasten the wall fastening plate "A".
Select the fastening position and check that the cables are free.
Use the wall fastening plate directly as a template for marking the holes.
Align the wall fastening plate on the wall using a spirit level.
Mark the holes on the wall through the openings in the wall fastening plate.
Drill the holes according to your fastening material.
The example shows 10 holes for a 12 mm plug diameter.
Insert fastening material and screw on wall fastening plate.
The example shows countersunk screws of 8 x 70 mm diameter.
Connect the WM Flex 32 L Alu to the wall fastening plate
Move the base plate with the WM Flex 32 L Alu over the mounted wall fastening plate so that the
holding domes of the wall fastening plate dip into the base plate.
Press the base plate with the WM Flex 32 L Alu against the wall fastening plate and pull down.
(the holding domes grip into the base plate).
Screw the locking screw "C" back into the base plate and tighten with approx. 3 Nm (lightly).
This screw secures against accidental unhooking and falling.
Check the secure hold of the fastened WM Flex 32 L Alu before installing a TV set.
As already mentioned, you need the right VESA adapter to install a LOEWE TV set.
See pages 18 and 19, sketches 6 to 9 for installation of the VESA adapter.
After you have fi xed the TV set with the VESA adapter to the WM Flex 32 L Alu you can align the TV set using a wrench (SW 5).
Horizontal position of the TV set:
Loosen screws, page 18, sketch 3, arrows D, turn the TV set to the desired position and tighten the screws.
Vertical position of the TV set:
Loosen screw, page 18, sketch 3, arrows E, turn the TV set to the desired position and tighten the screw.
There are eyes or rings on the bottom of the Flew Wall Mount arm. Use these to guide the connecting leads to the TV set. A
cable hose is also available as an accessory for laying all the cables together.
