Turning your multi-adapter ON and OFF
The multi-adapter needs to be ON in order for the headset to work.
To turn the multi-adapter on simply remove the headset from the
multi-adapter. Doing so will automatically turn the multi-adapter on.
It will then be in 'standby' mode and ready for use. In this mode, the
multi-adapter indicator light will be flashing every 3 seconds.
At times, you may need to turn off your multi-adapter, such as when
required by air travel safety measures. To turn the multi-adapter off,
insert the headset into the multi-adapter holder.
Using the stylus switch
The hidden stylus switch on the multi-adapter is used for a number
of functions. The stylus switch is accessible via a hole, about the
diameter of a paper clip, which is located next to the AC power
adapter cable socket. Inside the hole, you should see a small white
rectangle which is the stylus switch. Using the stylus provided, you
can press this switch when instructed in this user guide.

Pairing the headset and multi-adapter
'Pairing' creates a unique wireless link between two Bluetooth devices
such as the headset and multi-adapter. However, you should NOT
have to pair your headset and multi-adapter since they were
previously paired at the factory. If you want to use a different JABRA
multi-adapter or headset, then you will have to follow the steps below.
1. Ensure that the AC power adapter is not plugged in.
2. Ensure that the FreeSpeak headset is off.
3. Use the stylus supplied to press down on the stylus switch (see
Using the stylus switch) and wait for 6 seconds (WHILE you press)
until the multi-adapter indicator light stays steadily lit. Then you can
release. (Note that during those 6 seconds, the indicator light will
flash, but continue to press down until the indicator light stays
steadily lit.)
4. Without delay, press
on the headset for approximately 6
seconds until its indicator light turns on steadily. Then you can
release.
5. After a short while, the indicator lights will turn off and return
to their regular standby mode, flashing every 3 seconds. Your
multi-adapter and headset have now been paired.
Now that the devices are paired, you will not need to repeat the
pairing process during future use as long as you're using the same
headset and multi-adapter.
Connecting the multi-adapter to your phone
The multi-adapter converts between audio signals and Bluetooth
signals so that you can enjoy cord-free headset convenience with
non-Bluetooth phones. To connect your
multi-adapter to your phone:
1. Locate the headset socket on your phone.
(In some phones, a small rubber flap
covers the socket.)
2. Plug in the jack from the multi-adapter.
