Resolving simple problems

If you suspect an error, first try to resolve the problem, using
the table below. You do not have to be an expert in order to
do this.
If this fails to resolve the problem, there may be a fault; in that
case, alert the installer.
Some problems can be resolved simply by resetting the sys-
tem once. (see1.3 Reset system)

ROBABLE CAUSE
The unit has not been switched on
The unit has no power supply.
The unit has been switched off by
external control components
The unit has been switched off by
the thermal cut-out.

HAT TO DO
Switch the unit on
Check the mains supply:
• isolation switch,
Check external control compo-
nents, if present:
1. Switch the unit off using the con-
trol panel.
2. Allow the unit to cool down.
3. Turn the unit on and check
whether it is now working again.
