Note: If the pilot lamp begins flashing right away after the first installation,
it can be assumed that the malfunction is due to inappropriate installation.
Check and eliminate the fault in accordance with the instructions in chapter 9.

Operation and maintenance by the user

The coating of the titanium anode is virtually unaffected by wear. The pilot
lamp must be checked once every month:
Pilot lamp green: mains voltage is present and the CORREX
ready for operation.
Pilot lamp off: contact your electrical fitter or the after-sales service.
Pilot lamp flashing red: contact your electrical fitter or the after-sales
service for rectification of the fault.
To ensure proper functioning of the CORREX
safety instructions must be observed:
1. Never operate the hot-water tank for more than 2 months without tapping
water from it: Risk of gas formation.
2. The plug-in potentiostat must not be disconnected from the mains supply
while the storage tank is full, or else the corrosion protection is no longer
ensured.
3. The connecting cable between plug-in potentiostat and tank must not be
detached when the tank is full, or else the corrosion protection is no longer
ensured.
4. The CORREX
downtimes (e.g. holidays), or else the corrosion protection is no longer
ensured.
5. Detach the connecting cable or withdraw the potentiostat from the socket
only after the tank has been emptied.
