8. Push in the spindle lock lever while tightening the
Hexagonal bolt in a clockwise direction. Do not over-
tighten the bolt. This can damage the blade, flanges and
cable clam.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION FUNCTION
The internal overload protection mechanism will shut off the
tool's motor when the current draw exceeds 15 amps.
Push the button at the underside of
the lower handle to reset the overload
protection mechanism (Fig. 10). The
tool is now ready for use.
CLEANING
WARNING! Always ensure that the
tool is switched off and the plug is removed from the power
point before performing adjustments or maintenance
procedures.
1. Keep the tool's air vents unclogged and clean at all times.
2. Remove dust and dirt regularly. Cleaning is best done with
a soft brush or a rag.
3. Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. A mild
detergent on a damp cloth is recommended.
4. Remove the metal that may have built up around the guard
and spark deflector.
5. Regularly check that all screws are tight. They may vibrate
loose over time. Add a dab of locking fluid if desired.

LUBRICATION

Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Only use light oil
to lubricate the tool. Other lubricants may not be suitable and
could damage the tool or cause a malfunction during use.
