7. Push the quick lock lever (Fig. 2-2) down to clamp the
screw. Turn the screw clamp clockwise to securely tighten
the workpiece in the vise.

CUTTING A WORKPIECE

1. Select a cutting angle and position the fence and clamp
system as needed.
2. Place the workpiece flat against base.
Position the thinnest section of the
workpiece facing up. Clamp the
workpiece into place.
3. Plug in the tool and stand out of the line
of the blade. Press the safety button
(Fig. 5-1) and the trigger (Fig. 5-2).
