REPLACING BLADE

WARNING! Always ensure that the saw is
switch off and unplugged from the
power supply before installing or
removing a disc.
1.
Loosen and remove both the screws,
then the removable cover (Fig. 6). Set
both aside.
2.
Push in the spindle lock lever (Fig. 7)
and at the same time use a hex key to
rotate the blade until the spindle lock
lever engages locking the blade in
place (Fig. 8). Once locked, the blade
will not rotate.
3.
Hold the spindle lock lever in place
and use a second hex key to remove
the hexagonal bolt (#55). Remove
the cable clam (#57) and upper
flange. Set aside.
4. Raise the blade guard (#46) to its
highest position, then replace the
blade (#50).
5.
Check the blade flanges to be sure
they are in good condition. Remove
nicks or burrs that could cause
uneven cutting pressure and damage
the blade
6.
Rotate the blade by hand to ensure
that it rotates fully and does not
wobble unduly (Fig. 9).
7.
Place the upper flange, cable clam,
hexagonal bolt through the threaded
arbor hole and finger tighten.
