Fill with oil and petrol
ATTENTION: The mower is delivered without oil in the engine.
All engines are tested at the factory before packing. Most of the oil is removed before shipping;
however, a small amount remains in the engine. During transport, the oil moves around in the engine
compartment. Therefore, you may see a sufficient amount of oil indicated on the dipstick. However,
this is not the case!
The oil tank holds a total of 0.5 litres of engine oil. The petrol tank holds 2.5 litres of petrol.
Remove the fuel filler cap
-
Fill with fuel up to the lower edge of the fill level limit in the neck of the fuel tank. Do not overfill. Wipe up any spilt
-
fuel before starting the engine.
Tighten the fuel filler cap.
-
Petrol is highly flammable and petrol vapours can explode and cause serious injury or death. Be
extremely careful when handling petrol. Keep it out of the reach of children. Refuel in a well-
ventilated area with the engine switched off. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area
where the engine is refuelled or where petrol is stored. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact with
the skin or inhalation of vapours. Tighten the fuel filler cap firmly after refuelling. If fuel has been
spilt, ensure that the area is dry before starting the engine.
