FORKLIFT BOOM
Material handling is dangerous. Improper use could
result in death or injury and/or property damage.
Carefully read boom instructions before attempting
to assemble, install, operate or maintain this product.
Keep boom instructions in a safe place. Protect
yourself and others by observing all safety information.
Failure to comply with instructions could result in
personal injury, death and/or property damage to you
or others.
• Do not exceed the rated lifting capacities.
• Inspect the boom before use. Do not operate the
boom if it is malfunctioning or damaged.
• Do not modify the boom in any way.
• Evenly distribute the load on forks.
• Do not use to lift people or items over people. Do
not stand or ride on the boom.
• Ensure all personnel remain clear of the boom
when in use.
• Only lift the load as high as needed. Keep close
to the ground. Keep personnel clear of suspended
loads.
• Use the safety chain to secure the boom to the fork
truck carriage.
• Do not operate if the safety chain is missing or
damaged. The safety chain is designed to prevent
slippage and will not support a full rating load.

SAFETY
• Verify the fork mast is tilted back towards the
operator. Never tilt the mast top forward, as boom
slippage may occur.
• Improper rigging practices may result in injury
and/or property damage.
• Use properly rated lifting equipment when lifting a
load with the boom.
• Use the boom on a level surface, avoiding sudden
starts, stops or turns.
• Verify the forklift parking brake is engaged before
dismounting the truck when the boom is attached.
• Only use boom when attached properly to a forklift.
• Never place fingers or hands on or around the
telescopic boom when in operation.
• The locking pin must be loosened before adjusting
the telescopic boom.
• The locking pin must be tightened after adjusting
the telescopic boom.
• Make sure the locking pin is tight before any and
all operations.
