CAUTION! To avoid burns, do not touch blade
when unit is turned on, or before, during and
after use.
CAUTION! To provide continued protection
against risk of electric shock, connect to
properly grounded outlets only.
CAUTION! Blade heats up to 1,200°F.
Smoke may emit during operation.
CAUTION! Always unplug hot knife before
installing or removing the blade. Allow
sufficient cooling time before handling.
1. Place post collars onto prongs on top of hot knife
with screw holes facing outward. (See Figure 1)

• Operate in well-ventilated area.
• Do not inhale fumes.
• Recommended for use with nylon, polyester and
polypropylene materials. Do not use this knife to
cut natural fibers.
2. Place blade legs over prongs. Match the indentions
on the inside of the blade's legs onto the prongs.
(See Figure 2)
NOTE: The blade's legs should be on the
outside of the prongs.
