5. Let it cool down for 10 minutes.
6. Drain water from case through openings by the hinge.
7. Get rid of remaining the water left in tube by pushing air
in with the syringe. Repeat as necessary.
8. Leave on a clean surface or in open storage case to dry.
9. Place nipple shield back in storage case as silicone parts can
attract dust and lint.
OPTION 2: BOIL
1. Clean nipple shield as described under STEP 01: Cleaning
2. Fill a pot with boiling water and bring to a boil.
IMPORTANT: Ensure water is boiling, let heat run an extra 2
minutes once steam is observed to ensure water reaches optimum
boiling point before going to the next step. Be sure that there is
ample water in the pot, so that no parts of the shield touch the
bottom or the sides of the pot, as this could cause them to
be damaged.
3. Carefully drop nipple shield into the boiling water and boil
for 5 minutes.
4. Remove from boiling water. Let it cool down for 10 minutes.
5. Get rid of remaining the water left in Flow Nipple Shield tube
by pushing air in with the syringe. Repeat as necessary.
6. Leave on a clean surface or in open storage case to dry.
7. Place nipple shield back in the case as silicone parts can attract
dust and lint.

HOW TO USE
/!\ WARNING : Wash your hands thoroughly with clean
water and soap before touching the nipple shield and your
breast. Dry your hands with a clean towel or single-use
paper towel.
1. Place shield over the center of
your nipple, with the milk channel
facing upward towards the center
for easy viewing. From your
breastfeeding position, you
should be able to see the tube.
2. Have your baby latch to your
breast with the shield attached.
The tube should be positioned
between the baby's lips.
3. The milk should begin fl owing
through the tube but may take up
to 90 seconds for letdown to
happen. You will be able to
observe the milk fl ow rate, its
color and your baby's unique
nursing patterns.
NOTE: Keep in mind that the milk
fl ows through the tube as long as
your baby is nursing. The consistency
of your baby's suckling can vary
and occasionally the baby may take
a break, which will be observed as
pauses or backward milk fl ow in the
loop. The presence of air bubbles in
the milk tube is normal.
4. Once feeding is done, move to cleaning.
