Cleaning and care

▪ Unplug the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down.
▪ Once the grill plate (1) is warm to the touch, use a piece of kitchen towel to
remove as much fat and other residue from it as possible.
▪ To remove the control unit (5), press the button on the control unit (5) and
pull it out sideways from the appliance (fig. D).
▪ Lift the grill plate (1) off the grill base (2) (fig. E).
Note: The grill plate (1) can only be lifted off once the control unit (5) has
been removed from the frame (2).
▪ Clean the grill plate (1) in lukewarm water using washing-up liquid and a
washing-up brush.
Note: Do not use abrasives, metal scourers or oven cleaner.
▪ Pull the drip tray (3) out of the grill base (2) (fig. F).
▪ Clean the drip tray (3) in lukewarm water using washing-up liquid and a
washing-up brush.
Note: Do not use abrasives, metal scourers or oven cleaner.
Note: For simple cleaning, you can also put the grill plate (1) and drip tray (3)
in a dishwasher.
▪ You must wipe the control unit (5) using a damp cloth and then dry it.
Attention: The inner side of the control unit (5) must be completely dry before
you re-insert it into the holder (4)!
▪ Reassemble the appliance for storage. Store the appliance on a level and dry
surface.
