Connections

Having mounted the Base Unit on the wall or in a rack, continue as follows:
1. Connect the keyboard to the 9 pin D socket on the Base Unit marked keyboard 1
2. Connect a coax cable from output M.1 on the Base Unit to the "video in" BNC on the keyboard
and connect the "video out" BNC to monitor 1. Terminate the cable at the monitor.
3. If the keyboard is remotely sited from the Base Unit, connect the 9V plug PSU to the keyboard
via the Ø 2.1 power connector.
4. Connect either a second spot monitor (no keyboard-no text) or the second keyboard to output 2.
Note that even if both keyboards are local to the mains, the second keyboard must be powered
from the 9V plug PSU.
5. Connect the BNC from the camera/receivers to the upper BNC sockets in each row of the Base
Unit marked "Camera Inputs"
6. Connect any other equipment requiring the camera video signals to the lower BNC sockets, on
the Base Unit, marked "video out"
7. If the user relay terminals are being used, connect these to the Low Voltage equipment of your
choice. Pin 6 normally closed Pin 7 common Pin 8 normally open
8. Apply power via the IEC connector and switch on. The power LED should flash and the monitors
should show Camera 1. Inputs
