Vertical Steam Ironing

With the help of steam you can easily remove creases and odors from fabrics. Therefo-
re, vertical steam ironing is perfect for smoothing wrinkles and refreshing your clothing
and other fabrics. In addition, a textile brush is included in the scope of supply. The
textile brush can be used to remove fuzzes and dust from fabrics.
CAUTION!
❐ Never aim the steam directly at people, animals or plants. This can cause severe
scalding.
❐ Never attempt to iron clothes while somebody is wearing them.
❐ Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item
of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical steam ironing if the
item of clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other gar-
ments, objects, people or animals.
• Vertical steam ironing only works if you activate the steam function by press-
ing the steam button.
• Vertical steam ironing is particularly suitable for ironing delicate or larger
textiles, e. g. jackets, coats and curtains.
• Also note the tips provided in the "Ironing Recommendations" and "Use"
chapters.
• Use the textile brush in order to refresh delicate fabrics. The textile brush is
perfect for removing fuzzes and dust from clothing etc.
1. Prepare the device in the manner described in the "Filling/Emptying the Water Res-
ervoir" and "Use" chapter.
3. Hang the item of clothing on a hanger. Ensure that there is enough free space
around the item of clothing.
4. Hold the device upright.
5. Set the device to the temperature level (••) or (••• Max).
6. Press the steam button in order to activate the steam function.
7. After use, switch off the steam switch, move the temperature control to Min and pull the
plug out of the plug socket. Place the device upright on its base and allow it to cool down
completely before you empty the water reservoir (see the "Filling/Emptying the Water
Reservoir" chapter), take off the textile brush and/or clean and store away the device.
2. When needed, place the textile brush on the ironing plate.
Make sure that the textile brush is placed corrctly on the
ironing plate.
