Intended Use

❐ This device is suitable for dry and steam ironing items of clothing, e. g. made from
cotton, wool, satin, silk, polyester or linen.
❐ This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐ Use the device only as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.
❐ The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, calcifi ca-
tion or repair attempts. The same applies for normal wear.

Safety Instructions

Danger of Injury

❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of
suffocation!
❐ This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if
they are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely
and have understood the dangers resulting from this. Children may not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless
they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
❐ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the de-
vice and the connecting cable.
❐ Danger of burns! The bottom of the iron gets very hot during use. You should there-
fore only hold the device by the handle when you are operating it. Do not touch the
bottom of the iron during or shortly after use.
❐ Danger of scalding! Never direct the steam at people, animals or plants.
❐ Never attempt to iron clothes while somebody is wearing them.
❐ Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item
of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical ironing if the item of
clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other garments,
objects, people or animals.
