Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
❐ Danger of suffocation! Keep children/animals away from the packaging material.
• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Sup-
plied" and "Device Overview" chapters) and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage
to the components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service department.
• Remove plastic bags, fi lms, cardboard and any labels that may be in or on the device
and are used for protection or advertising during transportation.
• Water residues in the water tank are due to quality checks before shipment, to
ensure that the device is fully funtional. This has no negative effect on the device.
• It is essential that you read through the "Ironing Recommendations" chapter before
you fi rst use the device!

Filling/Emptying the Water Reservoir

CAUTION!
❐ Always pull out the plug before you top up/empty the water reservoir. Always pull the
plug and never the cable.
❐ Never pour any cleaning agent or other additives into the device. This could destroy
the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.
