ATTENTION! Damage to property! Do not use the device on very cold glass sur-
faces.
Each time before using the device, check the fl oor pad for wear. It may not be used if
it is visibly worn down or is damaged. Otherwise it could damage your fl oor.
Only use the device when it is functional and has been completely assembled and
the fl oor pad (when cleaning the fl oor) has been attached.
Never apply the vapour stream to one area for more than approximately 10 seconds.
Otherwise, it could damage the surface.
Cleaning the fl oor
It is recommended that you briefl y sweep the fl oor surface with a broom or vacu-
um it before using the device.
1. Mount the handle bar with the handle and the cleaning head on the main unit. Attach
the fl oor pad to the cleaning head and, if you would like to clean a carpet, the carpet
cleaning head (see chapter "Assembling the device").
2. Fill the water tank (see chapter "Filling the water tank").
3. In order to unwind the power cord, turn the top hook of the cord spool down. Hang
the power cord in the cord holder (3) for better handling of the steam cleaner when
cleaning fl oors and so that you do not trip over the cord.
6. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible. The
power LEDs (12) behind the water tank will illuminate in red as soon as operating
voltage is present. Wait until the device has reached the operating temperature and
the power LEDs are blue.

On / Off switch and fi ll water in the tank (see chapter "Filling the water tank").
11. Before you wash out the fl oor pad or once you have fi nished cleaning the fl oor, push
the
On / Off switch and pull the mains plug out of the socket. Never pull on the
cord, but always on the plug.
4. Turn the knob for the steam quantity control (8) to the mini-
mum setting by turning it counterclockwise until it comes
to a stop.
5. Park the device in an upright position. The hinge of the
cleaning head locks in when in an upright position.
