3. OPERATION

3.1 Modes of operation

- Full power left and right 4.0 kW (RH) / 4.6 kW (HL)
- Keep-warm mode with reduced heating power 1.0/1.15 kW
- Half heating power left or right 2.0/2.3 kW
3.2 Basic models: RH-EM / HL-EM
Electromechanical control
- Move reflector to top position.
- Place dish or platter on the grid or plate.
- Switch on unit, turn switch to desired heating power.
- Lower reflector to the desired position.
- When the desired browning is achieved, switch off the unit and move the reflector to the top
position.
- Either remove the plate or turn the switch to the keep-warm position.
3.3. Standard models: RH-ET / HL-ET
- MAN mode: Turn the switch to MAN mode and then proceed as described under 3.2.
- AUTO mode: Turn the switch to AUTO mode and then proceed as described under 3.2.
- After the timer is set (0-15 minutes) the unit starts up.
- When the time has elapsed, an acoustic signal sounds and the heat is switched off.
