INTENDED AND NON-INTENDED USE OF THE BICYCLE

INTENDED USE
The electric pedal assisted bicycle is designed and built uniquely for short and
medium trips in town or extra urban roads, solely and exclusively where permitted
by the road code.
NON-INTENDED USE
No use other than that described in the INTENDED USE section is foreseen.
IT IS NOT INTENDED FOR OFF-ROAD USE: any excessive vibration may damage
the bicycle or its components.
It is also absolutely forbidden to:
- Use the bicycle or parts thereof for activities other than those intended.
- Use the bicycle with any electric components other than indicated in the technical
specifications.
- Use of the bicycle by persons without the capability.
- Use of the bicycle should you have any incompatible pathologies (e.g. back and
spinal pathologies).
Re-use of any part of the bicycle after it has been decommissioned releases the
manufacturing company from any liability arising from the use of the part.
- The use of the bicycle without protective equipment.
THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER CAUSED BY
ANY NON-INTENDED USE OF THE BICYCLE. ANY NON-INTENDED USE OF
THE BICYCLE ENTAILS THE IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE WARRANTY
TERMS.
RESIDUAL RISKS
- Some bicycle components can reach high temperatures (see motor and rotors).
- High temperature parts, given their mass, have a long cooling off time. It is therefore
necessary to ensure they have completely cooled off before touching them (two
hours) without adequate protection, even after a while from when switch off occurred.
- Disconnect the battery before carrying out any maintenance work.
- Some parts may have sharp and protruding edges. Therefore, wear appropriate
clothing to avoid cuts, scratches or abrasions.
DANGER
ACCESS TO CLOSED OR PROTECTED PARTS OF THE BICYCLE SHOULD
ONLY BE CARRIED OUT FOR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS AND ONLY BY
PERSONNEL AUTHORISED BY THE COMPANY SUCH AS THE DEALERS.
