2. Operating Procedure

Note that the burner orifice (2) remains hot after the flame has been extinguished.

Do not touch. Can cause burns.

Point the burner away from body and flammable objects.
The unit is ignited by gradual pressure on the trigger (3). Maintain pressure throughout the
flame-off procedure. Disconnect the unit before leaving it unattended.
The flame can be varied in size by turning the gas controller (1).
The flame is extinguished upon release of the trigger (3).
The trigger (3) is equipped with a locking device (4). The locking device (4) is pushed side
wards when trigger (3) is pressed. To release locking device (4) press trigger (3).

3. End of operation procedure

After use or for any longer period of time without attandance, ensure that the gas controller
(1) is shut completely. (Turn the gas controller (1) in clockwise direction to the stop
position). Disconnect the gas cartridge from the powerjet 2.
Gas cartridge CV360: Hold the handle (5) and pull the gas cartridge (13) out of the
handle (5).
Gas cartridge Express 444: Hold the handle (5) tightly and unscrew the gas cartridge
Express 444 (12) counterclockwise out of the adapter Express 444 (10).
4. Exchanging the gas cartridge CV 360 from Coleman/Campingaz
Ensure that the flame is extinguished, the burner has cooled down and no other flame is
nearby. Shut off the gas controller (1) completely (Turn the gas controller (1) in
clockwise direction to the stop position).
Hold the handle (5) tightly and pull the empty gas cartridge (13) out of the handle (5).
Check the sealing (9). Replace the sealing if damaged or worn.
(Sealing CV360 for powerjet 2,
Ensure that the sealing (9) is in place and in good condition.
Remove the blue protective cap of the new gas cartridge. Push the gas cartridge (13) into
the handle (5) up to the stop-position. The stop position of the gas cartridge is reached by
a audible "click".
Be careful not to fit the gas cartridge (13) skewed.

Temperature range when using cartridges is +10°C to +35°C. (50°F to 95°F)
5. Exchanging the gas cartridge Express 444 from Guilbert Express
Ensure that the flame is extinguished, the burner has cooled down and no other flame is
nearby. Shut off the gas controller (1) completely (Turn the gas controller (1) in
clockwise direction to the stop position).
Hold the handle (5) tightly and unscrew the gas cartridge Express 444 (12)
counterclockwise out of the adapter Express 444 (10).
