UHF Audio Transmission System
These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge Please read the
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference
All operating elements described can be
found on pages 2 and 3
1 Overview
1.1 Headband microphone with
transmitter
1 Battery compartment cover; two covers of a
different colour are provided
2 Button ON / OFF/ MUTE
To switch off the transmitter, keep the button
pressed until the power indicator (3) extin-
guishes
3 Power indicator
green
= battery sufficiently charged
red
= battery must be replaced
flashing = transmitter muted
4 Protective rubber cap
5 Locking nuts for head strap (7)
6 Control GAIN for the microphone sensitivity
7 Head strap
8 Rotary switch CH to adjust the transmission
channel; the outer ring of numbers applies
9 Headband
10 Gooseneck
11 Microphone

13 Tools to adjust the control GAIN (6) and the
rotary switches (8 and 16)
1.2 Receiver
14 BNC jacks for the antennas (20)
15 POWER switch
16 Rotary switch CH to adjust the transmission
channel
17 Reception LED indicator RF; will light up while
a radio signal is being received from the trans-
mitter (will extinguish when the transmitter
is muted)
18 Audio signal LED indicator AF; will light up
to the rhythm of the audio signal received

20 Receiving antennas
21 Audio output (6 3 mm jack, unbalanced), for
connection to an input for units with line
signal level
22 Audio output (XLR, balanced), for connection
to a microphone input
23 Strain relief for the cable of the power supply
unit
24 Power supply jack to connect the power sup-
ply unit provided

2 Safety Notes

The units (headband microphone with transmit-
ter, receiver, power supply unit) correspond to
all relevant directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with
WARNING The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage Leave servicing
to skilled personnel Inexpert han-
dling may result in electric shock
The units are suitable for indoor use only Pro-
tect them against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity The admissible ambient
temperature range is 0 – 40 °C
Immediately disconnect the power supply unit
from the mains socket if
1 the receiver or the power supply unit is visibly
damaged,
2 a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3 malfunctions occur
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals
No guarantee claims for the units and no li-
ability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated, or if they are not repaired in an
expert way
If the units are to be put out of oper-
ation definitely, dispose of the units in
accordance with local regulations
