5. To Use

1. Press the Power Button to activate the scale and wait until the LCD Display reads zero.
2. Press the UNIT button on the bottom of the scale to set the units of measurement: grams (g), kilograms
(kg), pounds and ounces ( lb/oz), or ounces (oz).
3. Press the TARE button to reset the scale to zero.
4. Place the item to be weighed onto the middle of the scale.
5. The item's weight will appear on the LCD Display; if no buttons are pressed, the LCD Display will shut
off after about two minutes.
6. To weigh additional items without removing the original item, press the "TARE" Button to "zero out"
the display.
7. To retain the measurement on the LCD Display, press the HOLD button after the measurement stabilizes.
8. To shut the scale off, press and hold the Power Button for about three seconds.
9. If "OL" appears in the LCD Display, too much weight has been placed on the scale; only weigh items
up to 33 pounds/ 15 kg.

6. Care and Maintenance

• Clean the scale with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not immerse the scale in water or rinse it
under running water.
• Store the scale in a cool, dry place when not in use; ensure no objects are placed on the scale during
storage.

7. Disposal

Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
