2. Hold these two buttons while setting the desired interval
with TEMPO [-]/[*].
The setting range is "0" (no Pitch Shift) to "24" (2 actaves up
or down).
3. Release the two PITCH SHIFT buttons.
Sustain Footswitch
You can connect an optional DP-2, DP-6, or BOSS FS-5U
footswitch to the SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH jack in order to
hold the Upper Tone notes even after releasing the keys.
Here's how it works.
1. Connect a DP-2, DP-6, or BOSS FS-5U footswitch to the
EM-20's SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH jack.
2, Play a note with your right hand.
3, Press the footswitch,
4, Release the key,
The note(s) you played keep on sounding after you release the
corresponding keys.
5. To stop the note(s) from sounding, release the footswitch.
Note: The footswitch function is also available in Organ mode (see
page 45) and applies to the Upper parts.

Commutateur au pied Sustain
Vous pouvez brancher un commutateur au pied DP-2, DP-6
ou BOSS FS-5U (option) à la prise SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH
afin de maintenir les notes du Tone Upper aprés avoir relaché
les touches. Voici comment il fonctionne.
1. Branchez un commutateur au pied DP-2, DP-6 ou BOSS
FS-5U à la prise SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH de l'EM-20.
2. Jouez une note de la main droite.
3. Appuyez sur le commutateur au pied.
4. Relachez la touche.
La ou les note(s) jouée(s) résonne(nt) après que vous ayez
reláchez la ou les touche(s) correspondante(s).
5. Pour couper cette/ces note(s), relâchez le commutateur au
pied.
Remarque: L'utilisation du commutateur au pied est aussi possible
en mode Organ (voyez page 45) et concerne les parties Upper.
