WARRANTY

PERIOD OF OBLIGATION
6 months from first use.

EXTENT OF WARRANTY

a)
Within the stated period we shall eliminate all functional faults with the device which can be proved as
tracing back to faulty manufacture, defective quality of the materials used and to improper assembly.
Our warranty does not cover the making good of damage due to:
deliberate or negligent damage; damage arising from the non-observance of operating and maintenance
instructions or by connection to incorrect mains voltage; damage from the effects of the weather, chemical
or physical influences or other abnormal ambient conditions, insofar as it cannot be traced back to a WMF
fault; minor damage according to § 459 paragraph 1 clause 2 of the German Civil Code.
b)
We are also under no obligation if – without our express written approval – work is undertaken by
unauthorised persons or parts from a non-WMF source are used.
The elimination of defects according to clause 2 a) is carried out to the extent that faulty parts are repaired,
replaced by fault-free parts or the complete product is exchanged for a new one, as we so choose.
AREA OF VALIDITY
The above-mentioned warranty only applies to products which are used in the Federal Republic of
Germany. For machines used in an EU country, warranty is provided within the scope of the conditions of
warranty customary for each country. Obligation to fulfil a warranty only exists if the machine corresponds
to the technical regulations of the country in which the right to claim under warranty is asserted.
Claims of any kind beyond the scope of the conditions above, in particular the reimbursement of consequential
damage, are excluded, unless legal liability on our part applies in case of intent or gross negligence.
