The vacuum fan 1 sucks up the dust raised by the brushes.

Warning!
Shut off the vacuum system by pressing the switch 8 fi g.1 to position "A" when working on wet fl oors.
When driving the motor-sweeper from one place to another without, proceed as follows:
- stop the turning of the brushes (see "controls", f g.1 - point 6).
- lift the brushes (see "controls" - f g.1 - point 10 - 13)
- Shut off the vacuum system (see "controls" - f g.1 - point 8).
The f lters 1 remove the dust from the air sucked through the sweeper. The f lters must be kept permanently eff cient.

Warning!
If dust starts blowing out form the sweeper, the fi lters are dirty and must be cleaned.
Cleaning the fi lters
Whenever motor sweeper raises dust during sweeping, the f lters must be cleaned. The cleaning procedure is as follows:
- press the switch 8 f g. 1 in position "C" to use the automatic shaker 2 for about 10 seconds.

Warning!
Do not move the lever for a long time as this may cause damage to the electrical system.
- about once a month, to keep the machine cleaner and ensure better service, remove the f lters and clean
them thoroughly with an air jet or preferably with a vacuum cleaner , starting from the inside where more
dust accumulates. When replacing the f lters, take care that the rubber seal 3 is in place in the lower part.
The dust f aps prevent the dust raised by the brushes from blowing out from under the sweeper
therefore be kept in peak condition and replaced if they become worn or damaged.
Replacing the fl aps
- Remove the f xing bolts and remove the worn or damaged f ap.
- Fit a new f aps 1-2-3-4 and secure it in position with the same bolts. The side and rear f aps should ride at
about 3 - 4 mm above f oor level.
The refuse container collects the refuse picked up by the brushes.
When the refuse must be unloaded operate as follows:
- unlock the closing hook 2 .
- slide the refuse container 1 from its housing.
- unload the container.
To f t the refuse container, keep its front part raised and push with a foot until completely goes into its housing.
The rear edge A of the bin must f t into the two upper slides B.
Engage the closing hook 2.
