6. Commissioning, operation
Safety instructions for installation
Follow the installation and safety instructions within the operating
■
instructions.
Install instruments in accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
■
tions and the valid standards and regulations.
The instruments do not provide for incorporated overcurrent protectors!
■
In order to prevent the contacts from welding through overload, suitable protec-
■
tion systems must be implemented by the operator!
Only connect circuits with the same voltage and type of protection to the switch
■
contacts and connecting cables.
Limit the maximum current, using external measures, to a value of 250 VAC,
■
5 A , with resistive load, per circuit.

Size the connecting cables for the largest current strength in the circuits.

1) deviating current limitation I max. = 1.4 A for designs in accordance with VdTÜV code of practice "Flow 100"
The exact information for the pin assignment and the required power supply
are stated on the product label on the case circumference. Examples of pin
assignments are shown below.

For the safety circuit, which will switch off the heating if the steam
generator falls below the minimum flow, only the normally open
contact of the change-over contact should be connected (i.e. with
Δp = 0 open circuit)!
