SAFETY GUIDELINES

WARNING! Risk of electrocution. Keep away from
children.
1. The inverter generates the same potentially lethal
AC power as a normal wall socket and should be
handled with the same cautiousness.
2. Do not insert any objects into the inverter's AC
outlet, fan or vent openings.
3. Do not expose the inverter to water, rain, snow and
other weather conditions leading to humidity.
4. The inverter without UPS function should be con-
nected only to the power system in which the bat-
tery is located in.
WARNING! Heated surface.
1. The inverter housing may become very hot and its
temperature can reach even up to 60C under high
power operation. Ensure at least 2 inches (5cm) of
air space is maintained on all sides of the inverter.
During operation, keep away from materials that
may be affected by high temperature.
WARNING! Explosion hazard.
1. Do not use the inverter near flammable gases or
vapours. This includes any location where fuel
tanks, internal combustion engines, lead-acid bat-
teries, and others are located.

CAUTION!
1. Do not expose the inverter to temperatures exce-
eding 104F(40°C).
2. Make sure that the inverter is in a clean and free of
dust enviroment.
3. The inverter is designed for a specific voltage and
must be connected to a battery with that specified
voltage (for example, a 12V battery should be con-
nected to a dedicated 12V inverter).
4. If you do not have technical knowledge, do not open
the inverter! Attempting to repair the inverter may
result in electric shock or fire.
CAUTION! Do not use the inverter with the following
equipment:
1. Battery-operated appliances such as flashlights,
electric shavers or razors and lamps.
2. Some of the chargers for the batteries used to power
up powertools. These chargers have warning labels
that indicate dangerous voltages on the terminals.

Connection
The inverter has two terminals on the housing, which
must be connected to the battery or cigarette lighter
socket using appropriate wires.
