• Pull the tab backward (1) at the front side of the
outlet plate to remove the plate, exposing the a
baffle plate inside the chute.
• The baffle plate is used to block or unblock the
rear discharge chute. If the handle is in the forward
position, the chute is open for discharging grass
clippings to the back of the product.
Note: When the knob handle is in forward position,
do not install the side discharge chute and keep the
side discharge door closed.
• Press the release button (2) on the knob handle
to pull the handle backward, the baffle plate will tilt
down to block the rear discharge chute.
Note: When the knob handle is in rearward position,
install the side discharge chute for side-discharging.

1. Ignition Switch: This switch is used to turn the
mower on and off. The start key must be inserted before
the switch can be operated.
2. Reverse Mowing Button: Push to cut grass while
going in reverse.
3. Pull-to-Operate (PTO) Switch: The PTO switch
engages and disengages the mower blades. Pull UP on
the switch to engage, and push DOWN to disengage.
CAUTION
Do not engage PTO switch when the deck is under
load. Failure to do so may damage the motor and/or
deck.
4. Digital Display Screen: This digital display screen
shows important electrical system information.
