Always use caution when handling fuel.

Wipe up all spills and then move the fuel container at least 3m from the fueling point before starting the
engine.

Eliminate all sources of sparks or flame (i.e. smoking, open flames, or tools that can cause sparks) in the areas where
fuel is mixed, poured, or stored.

Do not smoke while handling fuel or while operating the machine.
Specific Safety instructions for hammers
a)
Use auxiliary handle (if provided) with the tool. Loss of control can cause injury.
b)
Use appropriate detectors to determine if utility lines are hidden or consult the local supply companies. Contact
with power lines can cause a fire or electric shock. Damage to a gas line can cause an explosion. Perforation of a
water line causes property damage or may cause an electric shock.
c)
Secure the work piece. A work piece clamped by suitable clamping devices or in a vice is fixed safer than held in
hands.
d)
Extraction of dust / chips. Dust from materials such as paints containing lead, some wood, minerals and
metal can be harmful to health. The contact or ingestion of such dust may cause allergic reactions and / or
respiratory diseases to the user or people nearby.
Some dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are considered as carcinogenic, especially in conjunction with additives for
wood treatment (chromate, azure).
Materials containing asbestos may only be worked out by qualified persons.

Be sure to ventilate the work area.

It is recommended to wear a filtering dust mask with a P2 filtering class level. Follow your
local regulations related to materials.
d)
Sharpening of chiseling tools
It is only with sharpened chisel tools that you can have good results, so ensure to sharpen the chiselling tools
regularly. This allows optimizing the tool's life and proper work performance.

Always maintain a good balance.
f)
When using the tool in high locations or high ground, make sure no one is standing below.
g)
Keep hands away from moving parts.
h)
Do not leave the tool when it is still running.
Only operate the tool once you are familiarised with it.
i)
During operation, never point the tool towards persons or animals in the work area. Doing so may cause
serious injury in case of an ejection of the bit.
j)
Do not touch the drill bit or adjacent parts immediately after using the tool. They may be extremely hot
and could burn your skin badly.
k)
Do not run unnecessarily under no load.
l)
Some material contains chemicals which may be toxic.
Take precautions to avoid inhaling the dust they emit and to avoid contact with skin. Follow the
material manufacturer's safety instructions.
