Master/Slave-Operation
The master/slave-operation enables that several devices can be synchronized and controlled by one master-
device.
Procedure:
Step 1: In order to select MASTER / SLAVE, unscrew the fixation screws of the service lid on the housing
and remove it.
Step 2: For Master operation, set the dipswitches 1, 2 to OFF.
For Slave operation, set the dipswitches 1, 2 to ON.
Step 3: Replace the service lid and tighten the screws.
DMX-controlled operation
You can control the projectors individually via your DMX-controller. Every DMX-channel has a different
occupation with different features. In order to call up the different features, you first have to ignite the lamp
(control channel 5, DMX-value 255).
Please note: In the DMX-mode the function buttons F1-F6 must be set to "n".
Addressing
The Control Board allows you to assign the DMX starting address, which is defined as the first channel from
which the TS-2 will respond to the controller.
If you set, for example, the address to channel 6, the TS-2 will use the channel 6 to 10 for control.
Please, be sure that you don't have any overlapping channels in order to control each TS-2 correctly and
independently from any other fixture on the DMX-chain.
If several TS-2 are addressed similarly, they will work synchronically.
Press the Up/Down-buttons for setting the desired starting address. Now you can start operating the TS-2
via your lighting controller.
Note:
It's necessary to insert the XLR termination plug (with 120 Ohm) in the last lighting in the link in order to
ensure proper transmission on the DMX data link.
